About Maya!

Maya Slaughter is a theatrical manager & marketer, born and raised in Morristown, NJ.  She recently worked on the National Tours of HAMILTON, Harry Potter & the Cursed Child, and Pretty Woman, and can currently be found traveling the country with the National Tour of SHUCKED. Maya is a proud graduate of Northwestern University, where she studied Theatre, Theatre Management, & Integrated Marketing Communications.

A theatre lover since age 5, her years of experience on the stage have developed into a passion for all things theatre administration, grounding herself in collaboration, diversity & inclusion, transparency, and innovation. Maya is a creative individual with a desire to share the stories that shape the world. As a multiracial woman, she greatly values diverse perspectives, from executive leadership to audiences and children.

As a performer, she has been seen at Feinstein’s 54 Below, Walt Disney World, CHICAGO Broadway (Special Event with iTheatrics), Signature Theatre NYC/Off-Broadway, Radio City Music Hall, and in concerts with Sutton Foster, Vanessa Williams, and Foreigner.
